As some of you may know, I recently returned from a 3-week trip backpacking across parts Europe. As I alluded to back in April, I opted to leave my DSLR and Hasselblad behind and took only a Canon F-1 35mm camera given to me by my grandfather.

As it turns out, the camera needed some servicing, and having neglected to properly test it out prior to the trip, I ended up with 3 weeks worth of fairly damaged negatives. While some are worse than others, the underlying motif between them in a heavy black shade on the left side of the image.

I had always intended to put together a new book with the images I came home with, but I hadn’t quite anticipated it would take the direction it has. Nevertheless, I’ve got this new book almost wrapped up and am excited to share it with anyone who’s willing to view it. As with The Yosemite I’ll be providing a free PDF download when it’s ready. In the meantime, here’s the cover and a teaser spread.

Keep an eye out!

Ahh, I can’t wait to see it!
